  1. For your final project, your directions were to choose one of three portrait styles, (mark-making, low-poly, or glitch) and digitally “weave” it with the original photo. What style did you choose and why?

I chose the low poly because I think it looks the most high quality and would look aesthetically pleasing to viewer.

  1. What tools did you primarily use for this project?

I used the polygonal lasso, rectangular marque tool, and the brush tool.

  1. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

I had challenges during the weave. It was hard to get the pictures cut out to look good together. Lots of the time major facial features would get cut out and it would look weird.

  1. In some cases, weaving two portraits together can be challenging because major details, like facial features, can become confusing or even lost in the process. Was this a challenge for you? Do you think you were successful with your weave technique? Why?

  2. It was a challenge for me. I think i was successful because i kept the eye and nose visible. This helps the viewer recognize the person I did my project on.
