Photo Restoration

As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?

To restore the photo to its original form by removing any imperfections.

What tools did we primarily use for this project?

I used the quick selection tool,spot-healing brush, burn tool, and the dodge tool.

What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Trying to remove the water damage stains on the picture. Also removing discoloration from the photo.

If you worked on more than one photo, how did you approach them differently? Did you have to use different techniques? Was one restoration more challenging than the other? Why?

Some photos don't have as much damage. Some also have discoloration which makes it more difficult to do,because you have to restore the colors but still make it look natural.

The goal of photo restoration is to not “overdo” it. Do you think you succeeded in making your corrections look natural?

I think i did succeed in not "overdoing" it. I think it looks very natural and there in no more damage in the photo.
