Mark Making Project

As this the artist of these pieces, what was your main objective?

To make a picture out of words so you can tell who the picture about.

What tools did we primarily use for this project?

The Brush tool and the selection tool.

What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?

Trying to fill the picture with enough words to make the picture look good but also being able to see the words.

One of the requirements of this project was to make a custom paintbrush. How did you accomplish this and what kind of brushes did you make?

I made a text layer with words. I made them into a brush preset. The words I used were rapper, chance, 3, and Coloring Book.

An important requirement for this project was about defining your values. Making sure each value does not blend with the others. There are multiple ways to go about this. How did you accomplish this?

I copied the color values in the real picture. I painted the words different colors based on the values in the picture.
